Canadian Folksongs Volume 1 is a collection of 7 piano solos and 1 piano duet of Canadian folksongs produced by Northern Lights Canadian National Conservatory of Music. Composers from across Canada contributed to this collection in celebration of Canada’s 150^thAnniversary. Arrangements include: A Fenian Song; Faut aller chercher le loup; Flashes of Silver; Huron Carol (solo and duet); J’entends le moulin; Land of the Silver Birch; The River Runs. This delightful collection includes works by Martha Hill Duncan, Diane Chouinard; Jen Smith Lanthier; Janet Gieck; Susan Griesdale; Michel Allard; Sheila Tyrrell.
