Jen Smith Lanthier

Jen Smith Lanthier grew up in Port Elgin, Ontario and began playing the piano at age four. She studied Theory and Composition as well as early keyboards at the University of Western Ontario, receiving an Honours Bachelor of Music degree in the year 2000. She holds an Associate in Pedagogy from the Royal Conservatory of Music. She also holds a Licentiate in Piano Performance from both the Royal Conservatory of Music and the Northern Lights Canadian National Conservatory of Music.  Jen lives in Owen Sound with her husband, two children and Goldendoodle named Rose. She enjoys composing and teaching and loves living near Georgian Bay.
